Devlin beats deadline to sign for Munster

Former Widnes Rugby League and Sale Sharks speedster Paul Devlin put pen to paper for Munster last night, just in time for today's Heineken Cup deadline.

The 22 year-old passed a medical and must be considered a strong candidate for the 34-man Heineken Cup squad.

Devlin's father hails from Dublin and he made the international move from playing for the England Youths (Under 18s) in 2000 to the Ireland Under 21s two seasons back.
