Rotherham put into liquidation

Rotherham have been placed into liquidation due to “unsustainable indebtedness”.

The club announced today that the directors had decided to “throw in the towel” meaning that the club may not take up their place in National League Division One.

The Titans were relegated from the Zurich Premiership last season and had been in dispute with England Rugby Limited over the sanctioning of their replacements Worcester’s promotion.
