Refs for cup semis are chosen

Chris White (England) and Nigel Williams (Wales) have been appointed to referee the Heineken Cup semi-finals on 26 / 27 April.

Chris White (England) and Nigel Williams (Wales) have been appointed to referee the Heineken Cup semi-finals on 26 / 27 April.

White, the 39-year-old who has been a full time referee since 1999 and has controlled 18 internationals, will be in charge of the semi-final between Toulouse and Munster at Le Stadium de Toulouse on 26 April.

Williams, 42, has been in charge of five major internationals and will do three more Tests before the 2003 World Cup - including England against France and Australia against Ireland.

He will referee the semi-final between Leinster Lions and Perpignan at Lansdowne Road on Sunday, 27 April.
