ROG tweets apology for THAT Late Late Show joke about his wife

Ronan O’Gara has taken to Twitter to apologise for his now-infamous comments on last Friday’s Late Late Show.

When asked by host Ryan Tubridy which was his greater achievement - his rugby career or his family of five with wife Jessica, ROG gave an answer which sent both the audience and Ryan into fits of laughter.

The clip went viral with many wondering how Jessica would take the quip.

In the tweet, Ronan apologised for his 'poor joke' and said that he had also said sorry to poor Jessica.

It's okay, Ro. We've all made a joke we've instantly regretted - but next time, let's try not to do it on live TV.
