Banbridge (3rd) and Corinthians (4th) face up against each other and the outcome of that will allow Highfield move into a more challenging position as long as they pick up the points at home to Old Crescent.
Rainey Old Boys are dominating Division 2B but face a tough task away to fourth placed Naas.
Meanwhile, the All Ireland Junior Cup semi-finals take place today, Clogher Valley home to Enniscorthy and Kanturk playing Tullamore at Knocknaconlon.
