Wilko returns for Newcastle

JONNY Wilkinson is set to feature in Newcastle’s Guinness Premiership clash against Sale Sharks tonight after recovering from an inflamed appendix.

Falcons boss Rob Andrew has named Wilkinson on the bench, but he can expect to make his first appearance since the Lions’ second Test defeat against New Zealand in Wellington.
