Sunday's meeting at Huntingdon is in doubt due to waterlogging.

Officials have called an inspection for 3.30pm after a brook near the track burst its banks and water flooded onto the course.

"We had 20 millimetres of rain overnight but the ground had taken it well when I walked the track this morning," said clerk of the course Fiona Needham.

"However, the brook has burst its banks and it's not looking good. We are forecast more rain tomorrow and we need to get the water off the track but there isn't anywhere for it to go."
