Claimer banned at Perth

Declan McGann was banned for seven days at Perth today for failing to weigh in after the first race.

The 5lb claimer partnered True Temper to be third in the At The Races Maiden Hurdle but he was subsequently disqualified and the fourth horse Leopold was promoted a place.

McGann will be out of action on September 4, 7, 9, 11, 18, 21 and 22.
