Dancing Bay can make amends for his costly blunder last time by breaking his duck over hurdles at Warwick tomorrow.

Nicky Henderson’s five-year-old looks a solid selection in the Milverton Novices’ Hurdle despite his fall two flights from home at Fontwell on what was only his second start over timber.

He had just been brought to challenge by Mick Fitzgerald after being given a patient ride but he stumble and fell two stride after the obstacle.

The consensus was that he would have come out the winner, in turn confirming the good impression he left when giving the much-touted Londoner a real fight on his debut at Taunton in February.

That was also his first run for three months, having left the care of Julie Camacho for whom he was a useful performer on the Flat, and he looked like beating the favourite before tiring on the run-in.

He looks to have a future and is open to plenty more improvement.

Mi Odds is owned by flamboyant bookmaker Gary Wiltshire and certainly landed a nice touch on his hurdling debut at Hereford.

He can repeat that success in the Leek Wooton Novices’ Handicap Hurdle.

Wiltshire’s horse, trained by Ian Williams, was a prolific winner on the all-weather and certainly showed his liking for obstacles when racing close to the pace before battling on bravely to get the better of Saxon Queen.

He is said to suffer from bad legs and connections will obviously be keen to make hay while the horse is sound. He is one to follow on his couple of runs.

Imaginaire has taken a long time to find the winner’s circle but can make it two wins on the bounce in the Hampton Magna Novices’ Chase..

An overdue success was recorded at Stratford earlier this month when he made virtually all under Norman Williamson and only had to be ridden out to record a nice confidence booster by three lengths from Infrasonique.

He has certainly been tackling decent company this term though and was not disgraced by his second to top two-mile novice Armaturk in a Grade 2 at this track in February.

He does not look to be facing anything of that calibre tomorrow and the Venetia Williams-trained seven-year-old can contribute further to his keep with another success.

Cherry Tart is in fine form at the moment and should run well again in the ‘Bet With Ladbrokes Today’ Handicap Chase at Uttoxeter.

Richard Ford’s mare made all to win gamely at Hexham on her latest outing and is only 1lb higher here.

Paul Nicholls’ Montayral will be the one to beat in the talkSport Radio Novices’ Chase at the same meeting.

He was an easy winner at Plumpton last time and has been running well in decent company for the majority of the season.

A repeat of his that effort should be good enough here.
