Florida Pearl surprise Tote Exacta entry
The 11-year-old, trained by Willie Mullins, is among 18 possibles for the ÂŁ80,000-added limited handicap which has been set up as an equivalent contest to Ascot's Victor Chandler Chase which was lost to the wintry weather.
Florida Pearl's last race was at the Sunbury track when he finished fourth to Best Mate in the King George last month.
Arthur Moore's Fadoudal Du Cochet, winner of Grand Annual Chase at last year's Cheltenham Festival, is a second Irish entry in the Exacta Chase.
Heading the home contingent are four from the Martin Pipe stable Exit Swinger, Golden Alpha, Seebald and Wahiba Sands.
Meanwhile, See More Business is set for a possible return to action in the Bet Direct Peter Marsh Chase at Haydock on Saturday.
As part of a selective campaign administered by his trainer Paul Nicholls, See More Business could be joined by stable mate Whitenzo in the limited handicap as a next stepping stone towards another tilt at the Tote Cheltenham Gold Cup.
Nicholls, who has given the 13-year-old a break since his clear-cut victory over Bindaree in the John Hughes Rehearsal Chase at Chepstow last month said: "See More Business seems as sprightly as ever and if the ground is testing at Haydock that shouldn't be a problem.
"Whitenzo delighted me when he was fourth in the Hennessy and would have been closer but for his bad mistake four out."
The Nicholls pair are among 14 entries for the ÂŁ60,000 limited handicap over three miles.
Others include last year's Martell Grand National winner Bindaree from Nigel Twiston-Davies's stable, the Tim Easterby-trained Barton and Peter Beaumont's Hussard Collonges, successful in the Royal & SunAlliance Chase at last year's Cheltenham Festival.
Elsewhere, Jonjo O'Neill's exciting prospect Rhinestone Cowboy heads 11 entries for the rescheduled Tote Tolworth Hurdle at Wincanton on Saturday.
The seven-year-old, who holds an entry in the Smurfit Champion Hurdle, is unbeaten in two races over hurdles both this season.
It could be a case of third time lucky for the ÂŁ40,000-added contest which has fallen victim to the weather at Sandown and at Warwick.
Other entries include Nicky Henderson's Chauvinist, Puntal from Martin Pipe's stable, the Paul Nicholls-trained Thisthatandtother and Venetia Williams' newcomer Fair Question, the winner of the 2000 German St Leger when trained by John Dunlop.
