The son of Daylami made a very promising start at Leopardstown ten days ago, finishing half a length and two lengths third behind two Ballydoyle inmates, Septimus and Arabian Prince.

The form has already started to work out quite nicely. Arabian Prince scored at the Curragh on Sunday, while fifth placed Wilman won at Tipperary last week.

Aidan O'Brien's Born For Glory is the obvious danger. He certainly indicated there was better to come when beaten a little over a length into fourth spot behind Rhythm 'N Roots at the Curragh last month. The downside, however, is that is a contest which isn't working out particularly well!

Dooley, a horse who has clearly had his problems, is a hopeful choice in what looks a moderate Listowel Printing Works Maiden Hurdle.

Lightly raced, he hasn't been seen since brought down at the first, contest won by Dontbebrushedaside, when going off favourite at Punchestown in June.

Feature event is the Listowel Races Supporters' Club Lartigue Handicap Hurdle. This has a typically wide open appearance, but a little on Don't Be Bitin, even if he is better going right-handed, may not miss the mark by too much.

He was one of the best juveniles in the country last season, producing arguably his best display at Leopardstown at Christmas when runner-up to Arch Rebel in a Grade Two.

Kempes and Australia Day seem the two to concentrate on in the Brandon Hotel Median Auction Maiden.

Australia Day was a creditable third to Altius at Gowran Park, but narrow preference is for Kempes, beaten a head by Jazabelle at Down Royal.
