The Open: Round one tee times and pairings announced

Rory McIlroy and Tom McKibbon handed morning tee off times with Shane Lowry and Padraig Harrington hitting the green in the afternoon.

The tee times and pairings for the first round of the 152nd Open at Royal Troon has been announced and Rory McIlroy is paired with American Max Homa and England's Tyrrell Hatton who will tee off at 10.09am on Thursday morning.

Tom McKibbin will hit the green in the second group of the day with Sweden's Alex Noren and Scotland's Calum Scott at 6.46am.

Padraig Harrington and Shane Lowry will start their rounds in the afternoon. Harrington will be out first at 2.15pm and will be joining American Davis Thompson and England's Matthew Jordan. 

Lowry will hit his first tee at 2.59pm and is grouped with Australia's Cameron Smith and Ryder Cup teammate England's Matt Fitzpatrick. 

Last year's Open winner Brian Harman has a morning start and will be joined by Norway's Viktor Hovland and Sahith Theegala 

Tiger Woods has been paired in an all American group with Xander Schauffele and Patrick Cantlay. They take to the green at 2.37pm.
