It wasn’t the weekend that Shane Lowry would’ve wished for after his fine opening round of 68, but the 29-year-old has produced the highlight of the final day so far, writes Stephen Barry.

Lowry aced the 181-yard 16th hole, his eight-iron approach landing on the green and arcing perfectly towards the hole before dropping to the tune of huge roars.
