Westwood keeps Nedbank crown

Lee Westwood held off all challengers to retain the Nedbank Golf Challenge today.

The Worksop golfer, who established a seven-shot lead on the back of a course-record 62 at the Sun City resort in South Africa yesterday, closed with a one over par 73 to win by two shots and land the £850,000 first prize.

Sweden’s Robert Karlsson was second, with Northern Ireland’s Graeme McDowell and Jason Dufner of the United States two shots further adrift on 11 under par.
