Defending champion Lee Westwood and home favourite Charl Schwartzel share the lead after the opening round of the Nedbank Golf Challenge in Sun City.

Westwood, who won by eight shots at the Gary Player Country Club last year, carded four birdies, an eagle and two bogeys in a four-under-par 68.
