Kaymer on the rise in Paris

Two early birdies today gave Martin Kaymer hope that he could still win a second Alstom French Open title in three years this weekend.

Resuming in joint 14th place and eight shots adrift of England’s James Morrison, Germany’s world number four picked up shots on the long third and 487-yard fourth to move into a tie for seventh.
