Kaymer extends lead

Germany’s Martin Kaymer led the KLM Open at Hilversum by three shots entering the last nine holes today.

The US PGA champion calmly birdied the second and eighth holes after taking a one-stroke advantage into the day.

Kaymer, looking for his third win of the season, was 12 under par, with America’s former Open champion Todd Hamilton and Paraguayan Fabrizio Zanotti both nine under.
