USPGA champion Martin Kaymer held the joint lead midway through his third round of the KLM Open alongside an unfamiliar face in Paraguay's Fabrizio Zanotti as the halfway leaders faltered at Hilversum today.

Germany's Kaymer, who will make his Ryder Cup debut at Celtic Manor next month, picked up two shots over his first nine holes to improve to eight-under-par overall after opening with two rounds of 67.
