Ireland's Padraig Harrington has climbed back up to third in the world rankings despite not hitting a ball last weekend.

The Dubliner starts his 2009 campaign in Abu Dhabi this week, but because the rankings are calculated over a rolling two-year period, he has moved ahead of Phil Mickelson in the table.

Tiger Woods remains top of the rankings, with Sergio Garcia second.

Geoff Ogilvy, meanwhile, is up from 11th to sixth after winning the opening event of the US Tour season in Hawaii.

The Australian enjoyed a six-stroke victory at the winners-only Mercedes-Benz Championship yesterday.
