Henrik Stenson will resume his second round this morning six shots clear of the field after a violent lightning storm brought an early end to play in the Nedbank Challenge at Sun City, South Africa.

Stenson had just rolled in his fourth birdie of the day at the 10th to move to 12-under with Rory Sabbatini, his nearest challenger on six-under, about to putt for his birdie when the siren sounded bring play to a halt.

That meant Swede Stenson was officially only 11-under overnight because playing partner Sabbatini had not completed the hole.

KJ Choi was in a similar position having just holed his putt at the 13th to move to five under while European Order of Merit winner Robert Karlsson is four under.

England's Lee Westwood and Spaniard Sergio Garcia are just about in touch at three-under and two-under, respectively, with Luke Donald, on his return from wrist surgery, a further shot back.
