Poulter to lead England World Cup bid
Ryder Cup wild card Ian Poulter will lead England’s challenge for the World Cup at Mission Hills in China at the end of November.
With Lee Westwood and Justin Rose turning down the chance to represent England and choose their partner – and Luke Donald injured – that option now falls to the next highest player in the world rankings, the 28th-ranked Poulter.
