Daniel Chopra, Fredrik Jacobson and Shigeki Maruyama are tied for the lead at the Ginn sur Mer Classic.

Sunday’s final round was suspended due to darkness with all three of the leaders still on the course. Play will resume on Monday morning at 8am local time.

At 18-under-par, Chopra, Jacobson and Maruyama have a three-shot lead over Dicky Pride, who finished with a nine-under-par 64 on Sunday for a 16-under 276 total.

Seeking his first career PGA win, Chopra was at 19-under and had a three-shot lead over Maruyama after eight holes. But Chopra had two bogeys on the back nine and will need at least one birdie on his final three holes Monday to post his breakthrough victory.

Chopra had to play seven holes early Sunday morning in order to complete the third round, and he entered the final round with a two-shot lead.

Maruyama started his round with three consecutive birdies but could not keep up the blistering pace. He bogeyed numbers eight and 12 and needed to make something happen to remain in contention, and he did.

A birdie at number 15 was followed by an eagle at the 16th that gave Maruyama a share of the lead. Entering the event 137th on the money list, Maruyama is on his way to securing his playing privileges for next season.

Maruyama and Jacobson each have two holes left to play. Jacobson had five birdies and a bogey on Sunday.

Pride had seven birdies and an eagle in a bogey-free round. He eagled number two and added two more birdies on the front nine. He started the back nine with a birdie and closed it with four straight.

The PGA Tour season ends next week in Orlando, Florida, with the Children’s Miracle Network Classic.
