American Diana D’Alessio and South Korea’s Jin-Joo Hong were the shock three-shot leaders on seven under par at Friday’s halfway stage of the Evian Masters in France.

There were a couple of two-time former winners in Annika Sorenstam and England’s Laura Davies among the close challengers. Swede Sorenstam had a 69 and was tied for third on four under as she continued her comeback from injury, while Davies, the champion in 1995 and 1996, had a solid 70 and was joint sixth another shot back on three under.
