McGinley leads Irish challenge at French Open

Paul McGinley is leading the Irish challenge at the French Open near Paris today.

Philip Walton, Damien McGrane, Peter Lawrie and Gary Murphy are also taking part in the event.

One notable absentee is Jose Maria Olazabal, who had to withdraw on Tuesday with a knee injury.

Englishman John Bickerton was the surprise winner last year.
