Tiger Woods, 70 under par in winning his last four tournaments, was again the man to beat when he began the Deutsche Bank Championship with a five-under 66 in Boston today.

A bunker shot to five feet on the 543-yard last gave the world number one a one-stroke lead over a group which included Britain’s Justin Rose and American Bob May.
