Clarke in leading pack on final day of Nissan Irish Open
Play has begun on the final day of the Nissan Irish Open. The first pairings teed off at 7.30am today as rain and wind swept across the country.
There is a four-way tie at the top of the Carton House leaderboard with Ireland's Darren Clarke in the leading quartet on -5 after three holes of the final round.
He is joined by Denmark’s Thomas Bjorn and English pair Paul Casey and Anthony Wall.
Their nearest challenger is England’s Ross Fisher on -4.
Padraig Harrington is well placed on -2 after four holes.
Of the remaining Irish in the field, Damien McGrane and Colm Moriarty are +3 after 11 holes. Peter Lawrie and Stephen Browne are on +2 after 12 holes.
David Higgins is far back the field on +10 after four holes.
