Harrington confident of making Irish Open
Padraig Harrington has said he is confident that he will be fit to play in the Irish Open, which gets underway tomorrow.
The world number nine has been suffering with a recurring neck injury over the past two days and has been undergoing intensive physiotherapy.
This morning, he said he felt better than yesterday and was confident of playing not only in the Irish Open proper, but also in the Pro-Am.
Harrington will be hoping to become the first Irish golfer to win the event since 1982.
