Goosen equalls championship record lead

Retief Goosen equalled the HSBC World Match Play championship record held by Mark O'Meara at Wentworth today.

The South Afrian took a 10-hole halfway lead against Jeff Maggert.

Ireland's Padraig Harrington enjoys a slim lead against the US Ryder Cup player Chris Riley.

Enrie Els, after a poor start, needed only three holes of the second round to turn things round and go ahead for the first time. He birdied the 20th and 21st.
