Justin Leonard today virtually ruled out his chances of winning a second British Open title at Troon or making a third Ryder Cup appearance in September.

“I would not rate my chances very well with either one,” said Leonard, who lifted the Claret Jug the last time the Open was held at Royal Troon in 1997.
