Spain’s Miguel Angel Jiminez has moved into the lead at the German Masters in Cologne after carding a 10-under-par second-round 62 today.

Spain’s Miguel Angel Jiminez has moved into the lead at the German Masters in Cologne after carding a 10-under-par second-round 62 today.

The Spaniard is currently on 15 under par, one shot clear of his compatriot Carlos Rodiles and England’s Miles Tunnicliff. Overnight leader Fredrik Jacobsen of Sweden is one 13 under par after picking up one shot in his opening five holes this morning.

Jacobsen carded a record-equalling 12-under-par opening-round yesterday.

Ireland’s Darren Clarke is currently in 16th place on eight under par after picking up one birdie in his opening four holes this morning, while Paul McGinley remains on five under after carding a level-par second-round 72.
