Scott leads Australian Masters

Adam Scott leads the Australian Masters by one stroke after a third-round 69 in Melbourne.

He went out in 32 but bogeyed three of the last five holes for an inward 37 to finish the round eight under par, with fellow Australian Gavin Coles trailing by one shot on an aggregate of 209.

Nick Faldo, after two rounds of 74, made good use of the favourable conditions to shoot a five-under-par 67 in the third round.

That left him in equal 17th place alongside Greg Chalmers and Peter Fowler.
