Golf: Scott cruises to victory at Qatar

Adam Scott cruised to victory in the £1.1m (€1.7m) Qatar Masters today to claim his second European tour title in style.

Scott carded a final round 67 for a 19 under-par total of 269 and a six-shot victory over English teenager Mick Dougherty and Frances' Jean-Francois Remesy.

Six players shared fourth place eight shots adrift of Scott, including Mark Pilkington, Stephen Gallacher and John Bickerton. "It feels great to be winning again," Scott remarked. "I had my chances last year but didn’t see it through".
