Golf: Garcia wins Mercedes Tour

Sergio Garcia has won the opening PGA Tour event of the new season after he picked up the Mercedes Championship in Hawaii, thanks to a play off victory over David Toms yesterday.

The Spaniard carded a final round nine under par sixty-four to earn a playoff spot before a ten-foot putt ensured the win for the Ryder Cup star.
