Waterford Crystal joins backers of Irish Open

WATERFORD CRYSTAL has provided golf’s Irish Open at Killarney with another fillip by backing the event as an official sponsor.

The iconic global brand in premium crystal will put their unique stamp on the tournament in Kerry, which tees off in two weeks.

As well as joining the family of event sponsors, a new bespoke Irish Open trophy has been commissioned and will be presented to the player who succeeds 2010 winner, England’s Ross Fisher, as the champion on Sunday, July 31.
