Tiger must face the music, says Watson

TIGER WOODS needs to show some humility and appear in public to admit he “messed up” by cheating on his wife, eight-times major winner Tom Watson said yesterday.

The world number one has taken an indefinite break from the sport after admitting in December that he had been unfaithful to his wife.

Woods apologised for his actions in a statement on his website but the outspoken Watson, in Dubai for today’s starting Omega Dubai Desert Classic and a first-ever appearance in the Middle East. said he needed to go even further if he was to rebuild his image.
