Haas: I’m not out for revenge

JAS HAAS says that looking for revenge at this week’s Ryder Cup isn’t his style. He knows that people will bring up the disappointing finish in 1995 at Oak Hill in Rochester, NY, when Haas lost to Philip Walton in one of the final matches that gave the cup to Europe.

“I really can’t go back and change that result so there’s no use in thinking about it,” said Haas, who at age 50 is still at the top of his game, which is why captain Hal Sutton selected him for the team.

“I don’t feel that I’m owed something or anything like that so I just want to go out and help the team.”
