Monty wins award

Colin Montgomerie has won The Royal Bank of Scotland Shot of the Month Award for March following his 28th victory on The European Tour International Schedule in Singapore.

Montgomerie will receive The Royal Bank of Scotland Shot of the Month Trophy and a cheque for £1000 to be donated to a charity of his choice.

The 40 year old Scot struck a towering six iron from 184 yards to two and a half feet to set up a birdie two at the penultimate hole at Laguna National Golf & Country Club, thus sealing a three shot victory in the Caltex Masters, presented by Carlsberg, Singapore, 2004.
