Cork Premier SFC Group 1:

St Finbarr’s v Carrigaline, Ballinhassig (P O’Leary), 7pm.

Nineteen points was the difference when they squared up to one another in the final round of group action last September. Carrigaline will surely not be as submissive again.

Division 2 League ribbons see them enter championship with momentum in tow. Reports suggest Ian Maguire is an injury doubt for the champions. What differences there are to the 15 that began the crushing Munster final defeat to Dingle last December will be interesting to note.

Cork SAFC Group 3:

Bishopstown v Éire Óg, Ballincollig (B Crowley), 7.15pm.

A repeat of last year’s quarter-final, which the men from Ovens took with four to spare. They both finished the League wearing Division 2 caps but reached that point by different roads.

Éire Óg were relegated from the top flight on an inferior head-to-head with the Barrs. Bishopstown, meanwhile, finished top of Division 3 at the end of the round-robin. Might experience again win out over youth?

Verdict: Éire Óg.

Cork Premier IFC Group 1:

Uibh Laoire v Glanmire, Kilmurry (B Coniry), 7.15pm.

Both outfits secured League promotion in recent times, but reflective of the different heights they operate at is the fact that where Glanmire moved from Division 4 to 3, Uibh Laoire conquered a whole host of Senior A outfits to jump from Division 2 to the topflight.

Verdict: Uibh Laoire.

Cork Intermediate AFC Group 1:

Buttevant v Glanworth, Kildorrery (A Hyland), 7.15pm.

Verdict: Buttevant.

Cork Premier JFC Group 2:

Inniscarra v Cobh, Blarney (D Daly), 7.15pm.

Verdict: Cobh.

Cork Premier JFC Group 3:

Canovee v St Nick’s, Ballymah (S O’Rourke), 7.15pm.

Verdict: Canovee.
