The Rebels will be looking to make it two wins out of two in the Munster Senior Hurling Championship following their win against Tipperary in Thurles last Sunday.
Should they do so, it will also see them avoid a third successive lost to the Treaty county in 2026, having already been beaten by their familiar foes in the group stage of the league and the league final.
Limerick had last weekend off so they will be raring to go as they look to reclaim the Munster crown currently held by Cork, who ended their seven-in-a-row bid in 2025.

Throw-in has been set for 2pm.
Waterford take on Tipperary at Walsh Park in a huge clash for the two counties who were both beaten on the opening weekend.
Throw-in there is at 4pm and that will be shown live on GAA+ with RTÉ2 showing Mayo v Roscommon instead at 4pm.
Cork v Limerick will be broadcast live on RTÉ2 with coverage starting at 1.30pm but you can also follow the best of the action on the Irish Examiner’s new and improved liveblog.
