Kevin Murray's departure from the Cork senior football backroom team was confirmed at Tuesday's County Board meeting.
Murray had joined the Cork sideline ahead of the 2026 season, assisting in the coaching duties with long-standing coach Kevin Walsh.
The former Cork hurler is currently involved with the Barrs senior hurlers, a set up where his brother Paudie is manager.
Elsewhere at the behind-closed-doors meeting, there were no appointment announcements for the vacant Cork U20 hurling and Cork minor football managerial positions.
