As it happened: Dingle win extraordinary Munster final against the Barrs

Conor Geaney on his winning free: "Dylan looked over, he said he wanted it. I just said, nah. It was on the left so I had a claim to it. It was outside the arc so it took a bit of pressure off it, I think.
"Then, I suppose I would have been more nervous if it had been inside the 21. I just wanted to put the head down, get a good strike on it and knew the second I'd kicked it (that it was over).
"Unbelievable, feeling; probably the best feeling I've ever had."
Few very quick (and cold) thoughts from the Munster final

Dingle's Padraig Corcoran tells TG4 that's the end of the affair for Mark O'Connor as Geelong's pre-season is starting after Christmas.
Here's the moment Dingle won the game:

Steven Sherlock of the Barrs, who's named man of the match with 15 points, says "I'm numb" after that late Dingle win.Â
"We left everything out there and probably to lose the way it happened, bringing the free forward fifty, I don't know, I'm just devastated. Absolutely devastated," said Sherlock.
Dingle win! Conor Geaney kicks a two-point free to win it! That decision by the referee to bring the ball forward 50m for the winning free will get plenty of attention.Â
Dylan Geaney two pointer and Dingle trail by one. Three minutes of additional time to come.Â

Can the Barrs hold on as we enter injury time, or will Dingle pull off the comeback?

Sherlock's strike off the ground goes wide. Three between them still. Another wide moments later for the Barrs.Â
Goal chance for Dingle but Paul Geaney's shot is blocked while goalbound by Ciaran Doolan. Geaney is calling for a footblock.Â
Tom O'Sullivan's misplaced pass ends up in a battle for possession. Dingle have a free for overcarrying and it's converted. Three between them now.Â
Yellow card for Conor Dennehy of the Barrs after a foul inside the two-point arc on Tom O'Sullivan. Dylan Geaney kicks over the free. Four between them now.Â
10 minutes of normal time to play with the Barrs leading by five. Dingle are getting the ball into dangerous positions in front of goal but can't make it stick at the moment. It's a small crowd but they're generating a good atmosphere at Semple Stadium
Brian Hayes takes possession directly in front of the Dingle goal, swivels on to his right and gives his side a five-point lead again.Â
Another score for Dingle. Tom O'Sullivan kicks over off his left. Mikey Geaney is back on for Dingle. This time as a permanent sub.Â
Dylan Geaney fires over an inspirational two-pointer for Dingle from wide on the right which curls inside the post. They needed that. Paul Geaney comes back on. Don't take your eyes away from this yet.Â
Sherlock extends the Barrs lead to seven again with a simple free.
Conor Geaney gets one back from Dingle and now worryingly, Paul Geaney walks to the sideline due to what looks like a knock to his head. He's replaced by Mikey Geaney.
Wide on the left Sherlock, fires over his sixth two-pointer of the game, this time from a free. It's a six-point lead for the Barrs. The umpire had momentarily moved to raise the white flag. That is quickly followed by a point from Luke Hannigan. Seven-point lead for the Barrs.
Another point from Dylan Geaney off his left. Three between them now. Moments later, Steven Sherlock gets his and the Barrs' first score of the second half. They lead by four again.Â
Dylan Geaney makes amends for that wide with the first score of the second half. There was plenty of pressure from the Barrs defence but he found space. The Barrs lead by four.Â
The second half is underway. First wide of the second half is for Dingle. Dylan Geaney kicks it wide left to jeers from the Barrs' supporters.Â
What a half. Both teams have had their moments and are enjoying a similar amount of possession. Dingle 69% on their kickout and St Finbarrâs 67% on theirs. The problem for the Kerry champions is that Sherlock is maximising every ball. That late goal chance for Paul Geaney could yet be a massive moment. The breeze, as it happens, is minor but it will favour Dingle now.
A reminder for Cork football fans that Steven Sherlock confirmed in September that he will return to the Rebels' panel next year.
The Stephen Sherlock show.
0-12 scored from 8 shots. 2 two-pointers, 3 tp frees, 0-2 including one on his left. Dingle have tried two different markers on him. At the very end of the half, Tom O'Sullivan eventually moved across.
Youâd presume Dingle will stick with matchup for the second half. Another non-negotiable is to stop fouling outside the arc. In this form, the Barr captain will always punish it.
Time to catch your breath. The Barrs lead by five - 0-14 to 1-16. Steven Sherlock scored an incredible 12 points in the opening 30 minutes, including five two-pointers. If, for some reason there's a football fan in your life not watching this game, stick them in front of a TV for the second half. They won't regret it.Â
Sherlock is on fire. Just a one-pointer this time. Seconds later, Dingle have a goal chance but Paul Geaney's shot hits the bar.

Paul Geaney kicks a free for Dingle. He cuts the Barrs' lead to two points.Â
Another two pointer for Sherlock! That's his fourth from outside the arc. He has nine points.Â
The Barrs lead again. Brian Hayes kicks the point. A long point attempt from the Barrs drop short and was punched clear by Dingle keeper Gavin Curran but the ball found its way to Hayes who kicked over with his right.Â
Mark O'Connor has made the transition back to the round ball look easy. He fires over a point from just inside the two-point arc to bring Dingle level.Â
Tom O'Sullivan is getting on a lot of ball for Dingle and creating chances. He finds Matthew Flaherty in front of goal but his shot goes wide. That was a great chance for an equaliser for the Kerry side.Â
Wow! Dingle respond to Sherlock putting the Barrs four up emphatically. Paul Geaney finds the back to the net with a low shot. The Barrs lead by one.Â
This is the Steven Sherlock show so far. He gets another two pointer, his third of the game. He has seven points already.
Tom O'Sullivan finds Conor Geaney in front of goal but the Barrs defence closes quickly. Niall Geaney fires a two-point attempt wide after the ball is recycled to him.Â
Another score for Sherlock. Super point on the run off his right. Two-point lead for the Barrs. Really enjoyable game so far.
Brian Hayes lays off to Rickey Barrett but he blazes wide. Decent scoring chance for the Barrs.
Lovely score from Tom O'Sullivan off his left and Dingle trail by one.Â
Super take from Mark O'Connor in midfield and Dingle have possession
: Sherlock kicks another two pointer for the Barrs. This time from a free and they lead by two.Â
Incredible scoring start to this game. A two-pointer from Steven Sherlock gets the Barrs level seconds after Dylan Geaney put Dingle two ahead. That is followed by a wide from the Barrs. Three Geaneys on the scoreboard for Dingle already.Â
Another score from Dingle. Another Geaney, Conor Geaney this time. The Barrs finally get their hands on the ball and have a score through John Wiggington Barrett.
First score to Dingle. Paul Geaney with a point. Nice play from Tom O'Sullivan to find him.Â
