The Liam MacCarthy Cup has been steadily making its way around Tipperary the last month. Nenagh has already witnessed some rapturous scenes with the trophy. And it was back in the town again, this time in Nenagh Hospital where some of the All-Ireland winners took it on a tour of the wards.Â
And it got a joyful and sometimes emotional reception. Â
Pictured above performing his very own trophy lift was the proud John Ferncombe, watched by visiting Tipp stars Willie Connors, Noel McGrath, Craig Morgan, Jason Forde and John McGrath. John even treated the lads to an impromptu rendition of Slievenamon.Â
Patient Anne Quinlan was delighted to perform a joint trophy lift with the younger McGrath brother, Brian.

John McGrath held up Michael Graham on his trip around the corridors.Â

Pat Nugent shares a joke with Craig Morgan.

Darragh McCarthy gets a lecture from Thomas Creed.

But takes it all on board...

John McGrath meets Limerick man Michael Cosgrove, who's seen all this before...

But they go for a spin anyway.
