Cork 1-13 Galway 1-14

6:43pm: Ailish O'Reilly: That was sweet. All we heard all week was about the three-in-a-row. All the talk was about Cork and it was like they were just coming up to collect the trophy.

65 mins: Galway are All-Ireland champions! It's their first title since 2021.

62 mins: Carrie Dolan nails a free from near the touchline to put Galway in front. That's her seventh of the game.

60 mins: Goal for Cork! Orlaith Cahalane gets it. She finds the net at Sarah Healy's near post. There will be at least four minutes of added time.

59 mins: A scrappy period of play ends with a really good Aisling Thompson chance for a point but it goes wide. Change for Galway: Ciara Hickey limps off and it replaced by Emma Helebert. And for Cork with Kate Wall replacing Emma Murphy.

57 mins: Saoirse McCarthy get her fourth point. Her long-range frees are keeping Cork in the game. A Change for Cork: Meabh Murphy comes on in place on of Aoife Healy.

52 mins: Carrie Dolan gets a red card for a foul on Saoirse McCarthy in midfield. McCarthy takes the free and scores. Change for Galway: Olwen Rabbitte is off and Jennifer Hughes is on.

50 mins: Super score from Ailish O'Reilly puts Galway four in front. It's quickly followed by a goal chance for Galway but it goes wide. Justin Heffernan was played an advantage though and Carrie Dolan scores the resulting free.

48 mins: Super score from Laura Hayes wide on the left. That could be inspirational for Cork. There's a goal between them. A change for Cork: Amy O'Connor goes off and is replaced by Cliona Healy.

46 mins: The ref awards a free after Shauna Healy runs into a Cork player. Saoirse McCarthy scores the free. Four between the sides now. Down the other end, Carrie Dolan's strike from right touchline goes wide left.

42 mins: Carrie Dolan nails a free from just inside the 45. Galway extend their lead to five once again.

40 mins: 10 minutes into the second half and Galway have their first score since the break. Niamh Mallon gets it. Lovely score too. Changes on both sides. For Cork, Orlaith Mullins comes on for Sorcha McCartan. Caoimhe Reilly goes off and Sabina Rabbitte is on for Galway.

38 mins: Clodagh Finn is fouled. Amy O'Connor has a chance from a free wide on the right. She's nailed it. Her third of the game. Good start to the second half for Cork.

36 mins: Emma Murphy gets a point for Cork. Saoirse McCarthy's ball forward was batted down by the Galway defence and Murphy picked it up. Clodagh Finn is on for Katrina Mackey.

34 mins: Long-range free coming up from Saoirse McCarthy. It goes wide left. That's Cork's second wide.

33 mins: Galway's Dervla Higgins picks up yellow card.

30 mins: The second half is underway. Early goal chance for Cork but Laura Hayes's scuffed shot is saved by Healy.

5.54pm: Here's that red card incident. Ursula Jacob calls it a "justified" sending off on the RTÉ coverage.

Half-time: Galway lead by five. 0-7 to 1-9. Big second half needed for Cork. Galway have been better all over the field and will have that numerical advantage after the interval.

33 mins: With Galway now firmly in the driving seat, Dolan misses a free that was within her range.

32 mins: Red card for Cork. Hannah Looney reacts after getting a shove in the back from Dolan. It's an off-the-ball coming together and Looney is distraught after being given her marching orders by referee Heffernan.

31 mins: Ailish O'Reilly puts over another. Mistake from the usually error-free Libby Coppinger.

30 mins: Thompson makes up for that previous foul and yellow. She pops over her second. Cork had gone six minutes without scoring prior to that.

28 mins: Cork's Thompson booked for a heavy tackle on Donohue. The retribution is another Dolan free. Now five between them.

26 mins: We go to Hawkeye, but the technology shows us the sliotar flew well inside the post. That was from Ailish O'Reilly underneath the Hogan Stand. Seriously tidy work prior to engineer the scoring chance. Four between them.

23 mins: Back to that one-goal lead again. Amy O'Connor points brilliantly from a difficult free.

21 mins: Cork their own worst enemy there, indecision and inaccuracy in defence puts Amy Lee under pressure, Although she she deserved a free for a push in the back, Galway's Caoimhe Kelly robs her of the sliotar and with the goal on, hits it over the bar.

19 mins: Carrie Dolan lands her third from another placed-ball and there's a goal between them once again.

17 mins: Ashling Thompson grabs Cork's fifth. The midfielder sticks it over the black spot from a long way out. Good work from Orlaith Cahalane in the build-up.

15 mins: Carrie Dolan helps Galway extend their advantage to three.

14 mins: Goal Galway! Donohue again nvolved as she races through the Cork defence, finds Mairead Dillon, who rifles home past Cork 'keeper Amy Lee.

Here it is:

13 mins: Cork star Saoirse McCarthy puts her name on the scoresheet. Great accuracy from the Courcey Rovers woman.

11 mins: Donohue is involved again, this time she finds the reply to O'Connor's 65. All action.

10 mins: It'll be Katrina Mackey to take it... and it's saved by Sarah Healy! Amy O'Connor knocks over the resultant 65.

9 mins: Penalty Cork! Amy O'Connor steals a march in behind and is brilliantly found by Katrina Mackey. O'Connor goes down and wins the penalty after a heavy coming together with Aoife Donohue.

7 mins: That's now two wides in a row for the Tribeswomen. Cork forward Emma Murphy punishes that waywardness to level the game.

5 mins: Carrie Dolan opens her account for the day, she makes no mistake from the placed ball after Cork's Looney punished for discarding her hurley.

3 mins: Hannah Looney finds the response almost immediately. The midfielder lands Cork's opener from range.

2 mins: Galway playing into the Hill for the first half, and Aoife Donohue opens the scoring. She plays a one-two with Niamh Mallon and fires over.

5.17pm: Referee Justin Heffernan throws the ball in. Game on.

5.05pm: Captains Meabh Cahalane and Carrie Dolan introduce President Michael D. Higgins to their respective teammates. We're getting closer...

4.55pm: Here's Murt Murphy's report from Offaly's three-point win over Kerry.

4.50pm: The Cork and Galway panels warm up ahead of the main event.

4.45pm: Not only is it a big day at HQ for the adult players, it's a dream scenario for the under-14 county development squads from all over Ireland who took part in blitzes in Dublin on Saturday.

4.33pm: The kids of Cork and Galway are ready, are you? Under 45 minutes until the showpiece throws in.

4.27pm: And Offaly are crowned All-Ireland intermediate champions for 2025 after holding off Kerry. Full-time: Offaly 0-14 Kerry 0-11.

4.23pm: Here's Daragh Ó Conchúir's report from that Laois triumph at Croke Park.

4.14pm: Cork have arrived at HQ.

2.23pm: Laois are the Glen Dimplex All-Ireland Premier Junior champions after defeating Armagh on a 2-15 to 0-12 scoreline.

In a game that ebbed and flowed, Laois started and finished well to banish the heartache of last year’s one-point defeat and earn a deserved victory in the Glen Dimplex All-Ireland premier junior camogie final.

It is a third defeat for Armagh in the decider since their triumph in 2020 and there were periods when it looked like they would get over the line this time.

Once Laois solved the conundrum of Eimear Hayes cutting out so many of their deliveries and getting passages of play going that led to Rachael Merry and Sinéad Quinn being such a threat, they began to get a real toehold in proceedings, however. Read full report here.

1.25pm: Three key players who could decide the All-Ireland camogie final.

From puckout targets to defensive sweepers, these three stars could define the outcome of the Cork v Galway camogie final.

Saoirse McCarthy (Cork):  Outside of her four converted frees, left half-forward McCarthy had a whopping 22 possessions against Waterford.

She struck three points from play, directly assisted two more, had the secondary assist for a Sorcha McCartan first-half point, and early involvement in another McCartan point in the second half.

She was a puckout target for Amy Lee, she intercepted Waterford restarts sent short. In the second period, she began to drop deep to pick up and carry possession from behind her own ‘65. In the words of RTÉ co-commentator Aoife Sheehan, “she’s been everywhere”.

Of Cork’s 1-21, she had a hand in 0-11. Her three wides meant both figures could have been even more impressive.

The Déise were far too loose in their detailing of the Courcey Rovers clubwoman. Galway won’t be so naive in their tracking of the 25-year-old. They’re also forewarned from getting this match-up wrong 12 months ago when handing the assignment to final debutant Olwen Rabbitte.

Róisín Black’s return to the Galway full-back line has reduced the requirement of her Oranmaree-Maree clubmate, Rachael Hanniffy, to go back there and carry out specialised marking jobs, and so she seems the perfect fit to try and curtail Cork’s form forward.

Travel sickness means Hanniffy is never found on the team bus heading to games. But with her confidence soaring after shutting down Tipp’s form forward Grace O’Brien last time out, the stomach is surely there for such a sizable job.

Aoife Donohue (Galway): Doesn’t do bad finals against Cork. One of only two Galway players to score from play in the 2015 defeat to the Leesiders. Player of the match in the 2021 final. Galway’s lead contender for that same gong last August.

The westerners' top contributor from play in the ‘24 decider with 0-4. Assisted a fifth. Her opening touches in either half came way inside the Galway half when dispossessing Amy O’Connor and Aoife Healy respectively, evidence of the instruction by management to go wherever she pleased. Cork didn’t follow her and paid handsomely for that decision.

Does Ger Manley instruct Aoife Healy to go wherever her namesake travels tomorrow? The Aghada dual star certainly has the engine for such a taxing assignment.

Donohue’s abrasiveness and her authority in possession is so central to Galway’s forward play that Cork have to prioritise keeping the sliotar out of her hand, irrespective of where on the field she is.

Laura Treacy (Cork): She has no equal when it comes to her reading of the game. The 30-year-old’s positioning is unrivaled and invaluable. A supremely confident and competent sweeper at the heart of the Cork rearguard.

Galway won’t stand on her toes tomorrow, but they have to ensure, through their decision-making and shot selection, that they bypass rather than bring her into the action. Hopeful, route one carry-on will only make her a triumph. Work the flanks and corners.

In last year’s final, she collected 10 Galway deliveries/miscued passes/point attempts that went short. After Galway attacks were turned over, hers was the first pass for two of Cork’s three winning points in the closing stretch.

If Galway go down the central channel, then they have to be clever and clinical with possession. Anything loose will be latched upon and relaunched by Laura. Eoghan Cormican

1.09pm: TEAM NEWS: Cork have named an unchanged team to take on Galway in Sunday's All-Ireland senior camogie final. Ger Manley is sticking with the same 15 that overcame Waterford by 10 points in the semi-final.

This means Katrina Mackey retains her position instead of Clodagh Finn, who was unable to start against the Déise due to a knee injury. Finn has recovered to take her place on the bench.

The manager has also opted to keep Orlaith Mullins in reserve after the Sarsfields' attacker scored 1-2 upon her introduction in the penultimate round three minutes from the end of regulation. Therese O'Callaghan

The Galway team is unchanged for Sunday's All-Ireland camogie final. Manager Cathal Murray, as expected, has opted to stick with the same 15 that scored a 1-18 to 1-11 semi-final win over Tipperary two weeks ago.

The Galway line-up contains 11 of the team that began last year's 1-16 to 0-16 final defeat. The corner-forward pair of Mairead Dillon and Caoimhe Kelly are making their senior final debuts this weekend having been unused subs 12 months ago. Eoghan Cormican
