Aidan O'Shea: 'The footballing offseason is a problem in terms of player development'

Mayo footballer Aidan O’Shea has already turned his thoughts to the 2025 intercounty season after they exited the championship at the preliminary quarter-final stage.

A penalty shootout defeat against Derry brought Mayo’s season to an end. Speaking on the  Irish Examiner’s Gaelic football podcast, O’Shea said the calendar means players will have to approach the off-season differently.
