When Mark Bergin strolled over to take a free in the dying moments of the Leinster club hurling final in December, memories of the 2007 All-Ireland Colleges final flashed into his mind. 

On that afternoon, Bergin had the chance for Kilkenny CBS to bring the game to a replay against Waterford’s De La Salle with the last puck.
