Sars didn’t just prove to themselves that they can win ugly when outlasting Blackrock in an utterly unattractive Cork hurling quarter-final two weeks ago. They proved to the rest of the county they’re no “soft touch”.
This Sars team has long been about flair and frightening pace. They didn’t do arm wrestles. And if they were reluctantly drawn into one, they tended not to win.
