Cork airspace restricted overnight; early morning flights delayed

Air traffic was restricted "in order to maintain safe operations", according to a late night statement from Cork Airport

Air traffic was temporarily restricted at Cork Airport in the early hours of this morning.

Air traffic control temporarily restricted flights into and out of Cork Airport overnight, with all activity stopped between midnight and 7am.

AirNav Ireland, which is responsible for air traffic control operations at the airport, temporarily restricted the flow of air traffic arriving and departing at Cork.
