Homesick Clarke quits AFL

Former Down minor footballer Martin Clarke has decided to call time on his Australian Rules career.

Clarke played 46 times for AFL Premiership side Collingwood during his three-year stint Down Under but feels the time is right to come back to Ireland, as he explained in an open letter published on the Collingwood club website.
