Just one week after seeing off Cork in the All-Ireland quarter-final replay, Waterford manager Justin McCarthy and his team are back at Croke Park, with McCarthy making one change to his side to face Limerick in Sunday's All-Ireland semi-final (throw-in 4pm).

The Deise boss has opted to keep a reasonably settled look to his side for this Munster final rematch with midfielder Shane Walsh moving to the bench to allow Ballyduff Lower's Jack Kennedy return at right corner forward.

Eoin McGrath was introduced in place of Walsh, ten minutes into the second half of last Sunday's win, and scored two points but has been named on the bench once again.

Kennedy has not featured for the Deise since their Munster final win over Limerick last month but he will provide a boost to their attack as they hope to book a first All-Ireland final spot since 1963.

Former All-Star Eoin Kelly, who sat out training on Tuesday, is expected to start despite having to have ten stitches inserted in a hand wound after last weekend's quarter-final replay. Centre back Ken McGrath has been nursing an ankle injury but is another certain starter.

Waterford had played four matches en route to the semi-final stage, with Dan Shanahan (8-8), Eoin Kelly (1-17), John Mullane (1-11) and Paul Flynn (2-8) all in consistent scoring form.

However Waterford will have to overcome a poor semi-final record to progress - they have lost in the All-Ireland's last-four in recent years to Kilkenny (1998), Clare (2002), Kilkenny (2004) and Cork (2006).
