Croke Park residents seek review of GAA agreement
Residents living in the vicinity of Croke Park in Dublin are seeking an urgent review of their agreement with the GAA.
The residents have invited former Labour Court chairman Finbar Flood to oversee meetings between themselves, the GAA, the Gardaí and Dublin City Council with a view to negotiating new arrangements.
Relations between the residents and the GAA have become strained in recent months due to problems with free ticket allocations, litter and traffic arrangements around the stadium.
Members of the local community are also concerned about the increased use of Croke Park for rugby, soccer and non-sporting events.
